Edward Frank Chmura, Jr., age 77, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2025, at home in Medina Township, Ohio. He was born on January 23, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents, Edward Frank Chmura, Sr. and Johanna "Honni" (Nimmrich) Chmura.
Ed retired from General Motor Company with over 30 years of service. He was a skilled tradesman and pipefitter. In his younger years he worked construction. Ed also served as a volunteer fire fighter for Hinkley Township and was an active long-time member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church Parrish.
Ed enjoyed working in his yard, especially growing vegetables in his expansive garden that he used to can for family and friends. He also loved to work on cars with his brother and watch sports. He was an equal opportunity supporter of all Cleveland Sports Teams through thick and thin. Ed & Paula had a deep love for animals, cats and dogs and loved to feed the fish in his pond.
