John E. Abraham, age 90, passed away on March 7, 2025. He was born September 22, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Sliman and Ann (Scalise) Abraham.
John devoted much of his life to youth sports, serving as a longtime high school basketball official and commissioner for CYO youth sports. He also worked as Activities Director at Parmadale for over 40 years. His passion for mentoring young athletes and his love for sports made a lasting impact on the community.
John was a man of great faith, deeply devoted to his family and his church. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society. Known for his quiet demeanor but warm and friendly nature, he made friends easily and cherished the time he spent with loved ones.
Some of John's greatest joys in life were spending time with his family, teaching his grandchildren to play poker, enjoying a good game of Yahtzee, Go Fish, or Spoons, and vacationing at the beach. His kindness, humor, and unwavering faith will be mi
