Daniel W. Winter, 84 of Sterling passed away March 24, 2025. He was born in Sharon Center on September 29, 1940 to the late Roy L. and Evelyn A. (Brown) Winter.
Dan enjoyed white water canoeing and was a member of the Keel-Haulers Canoe Club. He also enjoyed restoring tractors. He was a trustee of the First Baptist Church in Seville for almost 50 years.
He was preceded in death by sister-in-law Doris A.Winter.
Dan is survived by his wife of 63 and half years, Pamela (Randall) Winter, son Jeffrey Winter, grandsons Christopher and James Winter and brother James Winter. There are many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 11am-1pm on March 31, 2025 at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio. Where a funeral service will be conducted at 1pm with Pastor Tom Chmura will be officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Seville.
